Your chosen pages become one new PDF. Typing 1-3, 5 gives one PDF with 4 pages.
Split by range
Each range becomes its own PDF. Typing 1-3, 5 gives two PDFs: pages 1–3 and page 5. Use + to keep pages together: 1+3 makes one PDF with pages 1 and 3.

Every page becomes its own PDF, delivered as a zip. A one-page file downloads as a PDF.
Your file never leaves your device
Your PDF is read and split by your own browser. It is not uploaded to HKPDF or any server. The network is only used to load the page and the tool itself.
The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics for page-view counts only: no cookies, no screen recording, and no file names or contents.

Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser reads and splits the file, and it is never sent to a server. The site does not record your screen or log file names or contents.
Can I split a PDF on my phone?
Yes. Open hkpdf.com in Safari or Chrome, pick your file and pages, tap Download, then tap Save file and choose where to keep it. If you opened the link inside Instagram, Facebook or a similar app, switch to Safari or Chrome first, or the file may not download.
How do I write page ranges?
Separate ranges with commas, like 1-3, 5, 9-12. An open end runs to the last page, so 8- means page 8 to the end. In Split by range, use + to put separate pages in one file, like 1+3.
Does splitting reduce quality?
No. Pages are copied into the new file as they are, without recompressing, so text and images keep their original quality. Digital signatures are not kept in the split files.
Can I split a protected PDF?
PDFs that need a password to open aren't supported yet, so remove the password first. PDFs that only restrict editing or printing, and open without a password, can be split. The new files have no restrictions.
Is there a size or page limit?
No fixed limit. Everything runs on your device, so very large files, like scans of several hundred MB, can be slow or run out of memory on a phone. Use a computer for those.
Do I need to install anything or sign up?
No. Open the page and use it. It's free, with no watermark.
