Are my files uploaded when I merge?
No. Your browser reads and merges the files, and nothing is sent to a server. The site doesn't record your screen or log file names or contents.
How many PDFs can I merge?
There's no fixed limit. Everything runs on your device, so many or very large files can be slow on a phone. Use a computer for those.
Can I merge PDFs on my phone?
Yes. Open hkpdf.com/en/merge in Safari or Chrome, pick your files, set the order, tap Merge and download, then Save file.
What order do pages end up in?
Files go top to bottom as listed, and each file keeps its own page order. Reorder with ↑ ↓ before merging.
Does merging reduce quality?
No. Pages aren't recompressed, so text, images and links stay as they were. Digital signatures aren't kept in the merged file.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
PDFs that need a password to open aren't supported yet and are skipped. PDFs that only restrict editing or printing can be merged, and the result has no restrictions.
